Throughout the month-long fundraising campaign, known as the Miracle Month of May, (which was moved to October this year), credit unions around the country raise money for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Despite the delay and the COVID-19 pandemic, Cabrillo was able to come together as a community to help the children of San Diego.
Cabrillo members and vendors generously donated. Employees contributed by donating, as well as hosting a virtual silent auction. Employees donated items for the auction and planned a safe and sanitary pick-up and drop-off system, to keep everyone safe, while supporting the fundraiser.
Cabrillo Credit Union received a $10,000 grant from CO-OP Financial Services, through their Miracle Match program.
